Yes.it's a drag car.The nose high stance was done for better weight transfer/traction.The sound is from headers,cam and compression.Yes the throttle response or lack there of sounds like the timing curve needs some attention.The sound would make your bones rattle!!!
Not growing up in that era I have a couple questions,
Why does the front end sit so high? Was there an advantage to this? Assuming it’s a drag car not an oval car
What makes it sound like that? Cam? Timing?
Funny, my oldest grandson asked why there was no smoke from the burnout. Had to explain the driveway was finished extra smooth . He was not impressed!!
