over heat well im at a loss too big bucks too spend too cool it down i read that fan shroud is a major player in cooling has too fit perfect also hose type do not use any universal ribbed hose bad for flow also try water wetter additive too the coolant cant think of any thing else you can do...

maybe try a rat cant go wrong with a big block the w motor is its grand pappy .but id go with the o9 they look just too cool when you pop the hood it was what gave me the drive too build mine in the end it was worth it good luck anyway keep yryin i think you will get it right:cool:

shaft angle i dont know off hand but know i saw all the angles in the factory service manual for 61 the 62 should be about the same not much help sorry lol:doh
