installing a new mechanical pump ona 409..the inlet and outlet lines to the pump, threah them in dry metal to metal.. or should someting be put on the fittings?... also.. old fuel pump, delivery just stopped. removal of pump and the arm of the pump was off to one side... has anyone seen...

Ive had a t-10 oil leak that I just cant fix.62 Impala, swapped in a T-10 in place of P/G. Oil leaks into the bellhousing area. It is 90 wt lube. Oil coats inside of bellhousing, runs down after parking into cover out to the floor. Pulled the trans. Flywheel, clutch etc dry, oil film on clutch...

I have a smaller fuel leak around the sending unit to the tank, . I thought I could use some sort of silicone type sealer, if something was good with gas.. any recommendations?
