I once won a bet at a car show, a guy said that's not a 32 I've had several 32's and I know what they look like. Ha Ha. 1932 Chevy. "Oh", the bet was for 1,000 but being the nice guy I am I let him off. He still brings guys by my car an tells them the story. So you're not the first .

I know you are probably looking for more accurate data...
But it came in at 270 hp and 325 ft-lb torque if that says anything.
I kept the original 971 heads on the slightly later 872 block with the cooling holes plugged.

You guys approve?
Does it sound ok when idling? as the headers aren't in sequence, still sounds nice, no?

Oh yes it sounds good,and with as much torque as that little motor makes,it'll scoot that little pick up around nicely.

Buddy was saying on that truck which weighs somewhere around 1500-2000 lbs it'll feel like 400 hp
When I heard it, I started to think that this is a lotta' motor for that hunk of metal haha!!!

Did you get a sheet from the dyno folks? If so,look at the torque and where it peaks,as well as how the numbers go up.I'm betting that it starts with high numbers at the low end of the pull and remains that way most of the way up,

No I didn't....shoot, should have asked for a print out.
