I'm not quite sure of what prompted this latest round of threads in this section. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall reading any threads where one member was disrespectful or offensive to another, by name calling or other verbiage. That's certainly not something tolerable or warranted. Yes, this forum is based on automotive, engine and cars, but it doesn't mean that it is limited to just that. I counted 26 different categories in this forum. If you choose to participate in any/all or none, that's your decision to make. Bob just made it easy for those to opt out of the political sections, by using the ignore button. I wish I had more information, skill, experience to share with everyone re. car issues, but I don't. If I did, I probably wouldn't post so much in the political section, which admittedly, I should avoid more. I'm not a dyed in the wool, hardcore right winger, but I do lean that way at times, perhaps because of the issue at hand. I respectfully beg to differ with Kevin from Colorado, benchseat4speed, on your description of all the postings being BS and posted by the right. When two freshman Congresswomen, Cortez and Tlaib, both democrats, threaten and use such foul language towards the POTUS, that is not BS, sir. That is something worth discussing, regardless of the posters political affiliation. This of course, is just one example. I know Trump contributes to this and instigates negative dialogue at times, which I'm not happy about, but these two brain dead, pathetic, poor excuse for human beings, raise the bar to a new level of being disrespectful. Not meaning to offend anyone by saying that. I've been around for a while. Not my first rodeo. I don't ever recall so much disrespect, if any, for the position of POTUS. You may like or not like, who the President is and that's ok. But the position itself commands respect regardless who occupies it. I know. I'll say it again, Trump can bring alot of this on himself with that Twitter nonsense. Apparently he feels this is the only non fake way of getting his message across which can certainly be crude at times.
Well, going to shift gears and make some happy. I was out in the garage yesterday trying to get that crap hole in some type of order. I have a serious abundance of old tee shirts, towels, and rags that I use on occasion, that need to be organized better. Went through them and found little tiny mouse turds all over the place. Disgusting. Had to throw many away. I'm a semi-germaphobic (SP). I could envision germs, bacteria and disease all over the place. Pathetic, isn't it?? Going to Walmart shortly and get some clear plastic containers to store the remainder in. Geez, I hate those mice in my garage. I have mothballs and dryer sheets on the floor already. Need more traps I guess. BTW, great posting of thread #48 by Dick MacKenzie. So, until we talk again, stay safe, happy and healthy. Peace to all always, Carmine.
