Why worry about a little extra weight from the bolts when it would be just so much fun just showing off the aluminum bumpers on your ride. Just watching Jim build this bumper project has my head spinning. He has the patience of Joab, cutting and fitting, welding and grinding. But he just loves a challenge when it comes to working on the cars we all love to own and drive!!!! If you are one of the lucky ones to have a bumper built by Jim, just enjoy it and show if off.....
I’m pretty sure mills was very serious when he said to drill out the aluminum bolts, I’ve seen some of the things he’ll do to save weight lol
