So did the car earn it or me.
Hard to say! I think everyone involved did a great job and told a good story to boot. I think you did a great job as a builder/driver/tuner and that ain't easy.

Some dyno sheets. 
These are Friday 3 passes that I made.
Mostly overcast and temps in the mid to upper 50s and a tail wind.
The last pass I got a little occupied with the cars still at the end of the track and the guy next to me double bulbed me.

The second pass the car wheel hoped real bad on the launch.
That pass was in the right lane just after the burnout contest.
The first pass was just a 1/8 mile run, trying to play it safe and not get thrown out.
The last pass was the first I had the chance to run a friend in his blown model A sedan, so I ran it out trying to stay ahead of him. Needless to say that didn't work.

As you can see from his Saturday runs, he was trying to beat my .004 and .008 lights.
After much soul searching with one more race for the year, I have desisted to pull the plug.
This car is not safe at these speeds, and the effort to upgrade it is not in my scope in the near future.
So instead of racing, Chris, Nathan and I will develop the balk and white 35mm film we shot at The Fall-Out Drags.
Chris is going to fire up the smoker, so it should be good eating.
Tom you should wheel chair your a$$ over Sunday afternoon, Chris thinks he can talk you into keeping the car going........he must have some super secret helper I have not met.
