No,Ray,it didn't.The Corvette those years had aluminum covers,stock.The 62-66 passenger cars had the stamped steel covers as shown,and were side specific.
The 250 and 300 hp had the steel covers. BTW, the one pictured is from late 63 and later.

One more thing on the valve covers that Cecil posted - for the one on the top with the gussets by the sticker area (the later year steel valve covers late 63 to 69) is that the "both ends of each valve cover" have a about a 10 degree slope from vertical on the front face and on rear face of the each valve cover. In other words the valve covers have tapered ends when compared to 62/63 steel covers.
ALL 1962 and 63 early 63 valve covers have vertical faces (90 degree from the mounting flange) on the front and rear of each valve cover.
