Well, from what I have read, the GM engineers at the factory said to use it so if its good enough for GM then its good enough for me. I just ordered some, thanks again for the link.
The rear carb on my tri power 348 is sucking air. In spite of my best efforts, I can't get the throttle butterflys to seal off inside the throttle. There is a tiny bit of light coming through. I can't find any DAG213 or whatever Gm called their fix for a sealer.
Has anyone used anything else...

Well, yeah, I did it but then I took it back out and used it in a 34 pickup truck. My ole 56 has a small block in it again for now. Who knows what the future holds though?... I have another 348 shortblock.
Concerning the oil pan clearing the steering. ..Check to see if your oil pans are just alike. I had to notch a truck oil pan to get it to clear the steering in my 56. I have heard that some will clear, mine didn't.

Yeah, I read that post on the hamb. If I were you I would concentrate on the Vette parts. They are worth some good money. Its really hard to find used Vette salvage parts for the older ones.
