Do you know why the oiler is so small?

We just restored a distributor but are having a difficult time identifying it. I think it's a 1959-1961 348 distributor #1110948 but the aluminum tag is missing. The part that is throwing me off is that the standpipe oiler is so small. I'm used to the pipes being about 2" and having a slight...

Are you asking for the clips, verification that the placement of the clips is correct or both?

Shoot ... I was just at the Daytona Swap meet this weekend and saw a guy selling 409 parts. If I had only known!

It's both ... I may have to break down and buy a stainless steel set, get the measurements and then put together a non-stainless set. But this is if there is a real need for it.

Our mechanic and tech guy keeps getting calls about this and we don't know of anyone (except ShowCars' stainless set) making a kit. We thought we'd look into it and see if there was anyone creating this or not. If not, we might try to tackle it.
