Thanks Keith, I watch his videos all of the time. The spot blaster looks like a good idea on the plug welds. I even have one of those blasters, haven't tried it yet though. The weld trough primer is a necessary evil on panels that overlap. I have spot welded (with the HF spot welder), a few panels together with no issue. But the coating on the new panels has no conductivity to use the spot welder on it.

I thought when he was using his spot welder he was removing all of the EDP coating, And then using his weld through primer

The trunk floor is going back in. Now to weld in the taillight mount panels, hang the quarters and set the position of the outer wheel houses and weld them in.

It's on and off, over and over until it looks right and the measurements are close to equal side to side. It's good that I only work on this on the weekends and other projects during the week before work. Ya just gotta walk away from time to time.

Tuxedo brand, bought it through Home Depot, so free shipping to the store. Seems pretty well built, so we’ll see how it works as soon as I can get the quarter panels welded in place.

Finally had some time this afternoon to start fitting and welding the passenger outer wheel house. Maybe tomorrow I can work on the other side.
