LF brake getting hot!

If you do not have punches and shoot guns like me, use your old brass as a punch. Used this a lot when I was younger when I would make gaskets. I made many gaskets from cereal boxes and brown paper bags. If it worked 40 years ago it should still work today.

Sockets make punches.

25-30 mile test drive in the 66 Impala. NO PULL, NO overheating brakes!!

Pulled over mid way to check and the hubs were actually cold. (it's low 40's here) When I got back checked again and still cold. Brake action feels great too.

I'm still not sure what was wrong but I'll take this win. :judges:

Try switching the drums from left to right, right to left I was told this by a mechanic a long while ago having pulling issues on a 59 I had at the time it did the trick.
