Id believe that a 32 would respond real well to a healthy 74" to mild 96". Like any other engine keeping air velocity up is most important.

I put dual 42 Mikunis with non combined runners on a stroked and bored 02 CVO Wideglide for a customer. A little jetting and some balancing it ran great, however I thought the carbs were too big. Be it Harleys or automobiles, most people don't seem to understand the carbs so they demonize them.

Lol i just saw a Solex in Feb at swap meet for bike parts. It was labeled as Linkert so i didnt look at it past few seconds. As far as what went shooting out i dont know. Perhaps it was a counterweight spring for floats or external spring as there are several.

OK, so maybe this is interesting (or not) It's a Branch Solex/Mikuni setup for an ironhead Sporty or a Shovel. I liked the look, ran it on a stroker ironhead, but it needed a needle and seat and I was in a hurry. Been on the shelf ever since, all those old bikes are gone and forgotten!
