Dick I don't know whose photo it is of the Al Lewis car but, It could have been taken at Charlie's US Rt 13 at Delmar? Just looks like the old starting line area? Charlie has many old photos from the early 60's in the lounge area at the bottom of the tower. I ought to look.

hmmmmm..... I just went back and looked at Carl's original post. He asked about 348 & 409 Junior stock cars. I guess I! My apologies carl. I'll look through my files for only "W" block cars.
Boy you were right Dick!! I really highjacked it with all the small block stuff.
Thinking back I do remember a couple of 348’s running Jr Stk.
Guess while I built a bunch of small block cars for friends, I got caught up in them running Jr Stk and spent my time blowing up 409’s LOL!
I think of 55-57 Chevies and Fords when I think of Jr. Stocks. By (my own) definition I usually think of D/stock & on down. That's why I got carried away with the first group of pictures I posted.

The 348-409 cars are great to see for sure, but It really doesn't matter, small or big block, even other makes, any photos from that time 64-71 are way cool
As time went on the amount of different combo's that people came up with to be competitive in a certain class is just awesome.
