Had to cut rusty wheel arch off any how so it made it easier to cut out inner wheel house

You could weld in some round stock and shape the upper edge.

Hi Guys,
Have done a little bit to the car recently but not a lot.
Have made a transition from the 63 Tilt to the 61 dash and mounted the column to see if it looked OK
You will have to forgive the hose clamp. didnt want to drill holes till i got it all sorted

rear trunk lip along the left side was rotted out so made a new piece and welded it in
then cut the rust out and remove in pieces

Treated with rust killer then fitted the new piece and Tig Welded it in.

Are these welds on the body mounts original or has some one done them at some stage???

PA10 red oxide the floor on the inside. makes it easier to keep clean. lol.

Cleaned up the front frame horns as the factory welds were crap so i re welded them over the top and ground things smooth.
Seeing as this part of the frame is always seen under the hood.

Nice progress.Looks like you crossed quite a few items off the list.The tilt is cool in a 61.

Don't know but I would almost think that was done at the factory to hold in place prior to spot welding.
