Update on BA 409

EVERYBODY 
Well Tom being the good car owner that he is 
, lets me pilfer through his parts pantry.
He has this griffin aluminum radiator that I have eyeballed before, but thought it was to nice for this car.
Now after the last race and the major overheating I give in and decided to go ahead and install it for now tell I can get the one fixed that I have been running.
Now this sounds easy enough, right.........................WTF!!!!!

That’s why I had to send my Griffin back and have them send me one with the corner cut out.
All at my expense..wasn’t too happy about that at the time.

I guess now you know why it was sitting in Tom's parts pantry?
I didn't think the original gear box would be a issue, only gear box that were moved ahead as in my car with the Delphi box. I had to get the cut out radiator .
Sure Tom never seen this coming.
And it was the last thing I was expecting.

I have another aluminium single pass cross flow but not sure it's big enough.
Radiator looks wide ,is it???
The core is wider, but the brackets are the same withe, the holes aren't in the correct place.
Don, I think it's hitting gear box ,or am I wrong??
Guess I could take my favorite 64 Oz cross peen hammer to it. 
Taking the water pump from mechanical drive to electric might gain 5 hp
I heard a guy one time said he had the problem with hitting gear box and he rigged it over to te battery side . Apparently he was not running a shroud .
Next you guy will be telling me to ditch the generator.
