At the time all I had was the 454. Nowadays I probably would have started with a 582. Run what you brung right. A lot has changed especially since Pat Musi left NJ and moved to NC.Best I can do is I have a 750hp 454 on a stand in my garage not sure in numbers and I’m hauling a brodix 598” back in a 72 chevelle from Florida today both my buddies but they’re in my garage
