But there's less Transvestites hanging out here than your usual bar.
Is there a reason why you would be hanging out in a "Transvestite" bar??????

I tore the one in my 64 Impala 327 4 speed was a bitch to get it unbolted straightened rewelded and reinforced then bolted back up.Did anyone else tear one up?
I don't know about El Rat but my crossmember failure was from to many launches at about 5000 rpm with big tires, something gonna break! What were the circumstances that led to the failure? Was this a drag strip car, high horse power, stick, auto? I have a vested interest.
No I have never seen a car with the GM fix as shown in the service bulletin Cecil posted but that doesn't mean it was never done.Has anyone seen a car with the GM fix welded to the frame?
No, leave the panyard bar on!Does the second arm allow you to remove the panhard bar completely? I have no real experience with the x frame rear suspension.
Later GM trailing arm suspension systems were triangulated and were able to chuck the panard bar. It's all in the geometry.Does the second arm allow you to remove the panhard bar completely? I have no real experience with the x frame rear suspension. What is the advantage of using a Pontiac rear over the original Chevrolet rear? What about using one from a Buick or Oldsmobile?
We're F"<ed Dave. Even without the big rear!409 Charlie has run one for years. The only downside is weight.
They look nice I have never seen those before, Thanks!I'm going to run these on my '59 Bel Air, along with some other reinforcements.
