The ball joints are not the same as a Corvette but the spacing of the rivets may be the same. I would take the ball joint to him and see if his fixture fits. Actually looking at the Chevrolet and Corvette parts books nothing seems to be interchangeable. Hope that helps. Bill

I had a 61 Corvette and the drive was off the generator, didn't realize they changed to the distributor in 62> http://www.ebay.com/itm/1956-1957-1958-1959-1960-1961-Corvette-Tach-Drive-Generator-1102041-/281540466168

The 62 Corvette had a tach drive off the generator, I don't see a way to do that??
