Drivers inner rocker done….used nice piece of drop from a job with a 90 degree break to use as inner….gave myself a nice lip to attach floors to.
Ran material inside lower A-pillar and all the way back to rear wheel well……now for passenger side since I have it figured out!!!!!

Mid-body mounts, goes all the way thru the frame.
I made brackets to step over the frame, attached to inner rocker and extended as far as possible so I can use as reinforcement under floor pans.
Poly bushing and washers on top of frame.608C1536-137C-4880-89C4-44C13AB8E932.jpeg1A91F812-68CB-4D90-9D94-356E8E3989CA.jpeg2B051D7A-51A7-46F1-999B-55A906E13C33.jpeg1A91F812-68CB-4D90-9D94-356E8E3989CA.jpeg2B051D7A-51A7-46F1-999B-55A906E13C33.jpeg608C1536-137C-4880-89C4-44C13AB8E932.jpeg

Todays Rust Repair Minute:
Outer quarters were replaced a year (or so) ago….so now with inner rockers replaced I can address inner quarter damage.
I have damaged area cut away on driver side in one pic and the repair patch I made/installed on the passenger side in the other.

It might not be pretty….but I Ga-Ron-Tee it is solid!EC9F9838-2C2D-4E4F-8B07-0C8F54CB7742.jpeg655E6CE7-D01C-4F84-9661-7677AE4426A9.jpeg

With body mounts installed….inner rockers and inner quarter panels repaired….this evening I removed all the body bracing that I put in back in 2002 when the floor and rockers were removed…..21 years later…..baby steps!!!

When I took it all out the doors still had great gaps and shut beautifully!

Hello All!
Still waiting on the guy with the computer to get the tranny set up….he says it will happen soon.

In the meantime I am running exhaust……2.5” and due to ride height and brake booster location I have had to get, let’s say, ingenious……
Pipe comes out under frame in the front, necks into oval pipe to fit between the frame rail and rocker, then back in and over the rear end….I will leave the last 8” for a pro to install tips that are turned down at the rear of the body.

One side done…..one to go.

After experiencing the headache of exhaust installation, I will never bitch about exhaust shop prices!!!

Well….I do like your look….but I have my end pipe tucked up by my frame and to clear just pass the rear of the body they will have a slight turn down…nothing severe

It's just a beater... I don't have many pics of it as a whole car. Most are in pieces during modifications from when I bought it.
The tunnel ram was gone soon after this pic. SBC with a mild cam and low compression and it ran like crap and would load up at idle.

I changed out the manual r&p for power, MII front which I modified for coil over suspension, added Vintage air/heat, Dakota digital cruise. Removed the TH350 and replaced with a 200r4, swapped rears to a '73 Nova 8.5 with 3.42 posi. etc, etc, and oh yeah, rebuilt the exhaust twice to get it the way I like... ;-)

Seats are from an '82 Camaro

Built a hitch and we use it to pull our retro canned ham trailer around...
