I don't believe I would have swiss cheesed those lower control arms. The weight loss might not be worth the loss of strength especially if the front end came down hard. :oops

Apparently I've seen this belair a couple times as I notice he switched to a white faced gauge!

Dude! Orange with a white top and just the 210 belt line trim looks killer! And a bitchin car otherwise I like everything about it:bow

Sharp eye on the 210 belt line molding . . . . not many people catch that! That orange paint also had a ton o' flake in it which never show'ed very well in photos. It was a cool car with a great actual C/Gas race history in & around St. Louis. It was the quintessential Gasser with Magnesium wheels, big Olds rear, transverse front leaf spring, engine setback and lots of Kellison fiberglass body parts.

Mark...do you know Dennis Sutton from O'Fallon? He has about 40 0r 50 55-57s. Has some gasser race cars. Loves 348's!!!!

Found some cool pics and info on Carroll Caudle's C/MP 55 Chevy this weekend. If you watched the 69 Nationals clip in post #120, you saw this car beat Landy's 69 Charger. Anyway, I found this stuff in an Edelbrock history book. His glasses make his eyes look:crazy
