Tweaked and test fit the two rocker panel braces. Seem to fit well. Now to clean everything up and decide if I'm going to make a new outer rocker or patch the existing one.

That's a good question Bob.Question: Why are these pieces NOT being reproduced????? I think everything else is available but these. I remember the hell I went through making mine.

63-64 are different then 62, It's been so long since I worked on my '63, I don't remember what they look like.

More fun in the shop this morning. I've been kicking around how to put the dimple in the rocker box brace. The dimple is above the fender mounting nut bracket, to provide room for the bolt threads. Ended up pressing a dimple into a small piece and welding it into the box. Not the prettiest piece, but it worked and once the nut bracket is welded on, yoy can't see it any way.
Finished up a few more rocker patch panels while I was at it. Now to get a pattern and make a few of the box pieces for the driver side.

Thank you. Here is my simple dimple press set up complete with a 2" hitch ball.
What gauge steel are you working with?
16 gauge, makes it a little tougher to cut and bend, but that's what the original pieces were made from.
Now if you could make a mold and press out those rocker pieces!!!
That would be nice. I dont think the size press that would be required, would fit in my shop.
Not to mention what it would take to make the dies.
I have a 80 Ton press, not sure if that's enough or not.
