Well, back at it after one of those end of winter weeks your happys in the rear view... Cold here, snow, people getting sick, one of those..
One of the things coming off the first startup was to fix the throttle linkage and go to a cable system. I bought off Ebay a 73-87 gmc pedal that I'm holding in the pic for the idea. I think if I mount it where I'm holding it, the cable will come through the firewall near the coil wires, red and black.
If you look in the pics, the best place to mount the carb mounting plate is on the front throttle body, not the back. Because their both connected, I'm thinking it's a non issue?
When bracket is on the back throttle body, the turn to the cable is really sharp almost a 90..
Is that the right way to go?
