    Edelbrock Head Update

Not false advertising more than likely just an oversite. The people they have designing the catalogs are just inputing info... they dont know squat about car parts. The pictures and info available online would tell you different. As for the numbering... its quite possible that both part...

    Edelbrock intakes

These are NOT air gap... just standard Performer RPM intakes. My 2008 catalog has them listed as Performer RPM. Just to be sure I called Edelbrock tech and they said just Performer RPM... not air gap. He also reconfirmed that the heads are due end of the month!!!!:beerbang :beerbang

    Edelbrock heads

Yeah, I'm told the 21st on complete heads and the 28th on the bare. Price... well, I'm wholesale... so I sell to shops. But I would guess that if mailorder doesnt whore them out... look for them to retail at $650-$700 ea for bare and $950-900 ea complete. Again. This is just a guess with me...

    Edelbrock speaks

I checked with Edelbrock. All of the numbers are still in development and there is no eta nor is there any pricing available.... typical Edelbrock. :cuss They advertise stuff for 2 years sometimes before it gets released... to gauge interest. I think $900 is about right for retail on the...

    Edelbrock Water Pump Finally!

No. You can be assured that they are made in America. That is the one thing Edelbrock has going for it. Lucky these aren't popular in the mainstream... otherwise mailorder whores would be selling them so cheap that the only ones making any money on the would be Vic himself... (can you...

    348 32 coupe

Just because it isn't painted, doesn't mean it's a rat rod. If you called that a rat rod to his face, chances are he'd take offense. I look at the term rat rod in a very negative light. To me a rat rod is hacked together for shock value with no sense of style or function. This car appears to be...

    Edelbrock Waterpumps???

I talked to my Edelbrock salesperson a second ago. They are due in today and scheduled to start shipping mid next week. Sounds like there are more pumps coming in than there are orders.

    409 stroker with 454 crank

Eagle has a new 4" stroke 4340 steel crank for the W engines. You might want to check with them and compare what a machine shop will charge you to get the BBC crank to fit. 440940026135 is the number

    New melling oil pump design

yeah, GM made them do it. I've had customers with failures on the dyno. Don't know the circumstances... but I've heard the stories. I just dont know why Melling didnt give the new style a different part number and keep the old M-55/M-55HV the same. Its surprised a bunch of people.

    Offenhauser 348-409 4x2 Linkage

A friend of mine is looking for anyone who may have some good pictures of the linkage on this setup. I don't know what he is trying to do, but he asked: "Anybody have a photograph of what it looked like? Or perhaps a magazine photograph from an ad?" Anybody have something that might be...
